Aluminum Manufacturing Controls
|
Spectographic Analysis
- Spectrography equipment is used to check the composition of
the aluminum: Initial analysis of incoming materials to ensure
suitability before they are used in the production line.
- Monitoring of the aluminum composition inside the smelting furnaces,
collecting the data needed for full traceability of the products
manufactured and marketed by Industrial Gradhermetic.
- Creation of an alloy label for all smelted and cast plates.
Property Analysis
During the rolling process, the data obtained from tests conducted
in the metallographic laboratory are included in the production
sheet for each coil:
- Stress rupture
- Elongation or drawing capacity
- Hardness
- Structure size
Only materials that comply with all required parameters are sent
to the next manufacturing step.

In-Process Control of Coil Coating
|
Industrial Gradhermetic has been a member of the European
Coil Coating Association (ECCA) since 1975. Its finish verification
laboratory is responsible for ensuring that the coils produced at
the company's facilities meet all necessary requirements for
subsequent
application:
- Color
- Strength
- Durability
- Aging
- Elasticity

Product Production Controls
The Manufacturing Department continually adapts its in-process
controls to ensure the design parameters of the Technical Department.
These parameters are checked and recorded by the Quality Control
Department, which also fills out a tracking sheet for each product.
